Fall After School in the Garden

• October 7th-30th, 2024 (M, Th, F)
• Summit Community Gardens

Kids in grades 1st – 5th have fun in the garden. They participate in daily work of maintaining a garden, tending crops, and harvesting food planted over the summer. They learn about healthy soil, prepare winter garden beds, and let their creative minds fly. Sign up for a single drop-in, 1- class a week, or drop-in packages.

Thriller by Odyssey Dance Co.

Thriller is back just in time for spooky season! Odyssey Dance Company’s performance of Thriller has it all – mummies, zombies, witches, skeletons all dancing and giving out scares and lots of laughs. Come out for a night of spectacular Halloween traditions.

Park City Shot Ski

Picture this: a half-mile-long shot ski served 1,363 people using 535 skis end to end. That was the 2023 shot ski event. This friendly shot ski competition with Breckenridge continues, and Park City will once again attempt to break a world record for participants taking a shot all at once. Buy Tickets

Halloween Celebration & Howl-o-ween!

Howl-o-ween on Historic Main Street invites the best dogs to don their best costumes, alongside their costumed pet owners and their families. From trick or treating at the retail shops on Main St. to the pup parade, music and fun, you won’t want to miss this Halloween tradition.

🍝 Local Highlight: Cortona Italian Cafe

A cozy, rustic spot for housemade pasta and gelato, traditional Italian entrées, and starters with wines. This Italian restaurant has an intimate, warm atmosphere, serves high-quality food, in good portion sizes, and is reasonably priced. Cortona makes its pasta from scratch and uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients for everything from sauce to gelato. They are all about family and food, and also offer family take-out meals.

🍂 Fall Activity: Fall Hikes at Deer Valley

Experience fall’s magic with a picturesque hike through Deer Valley. With each step, immerse yourself in the vibrant colors and crisp air that make autumn the perfect time to explore the area. Head out on one of these hikes and take in stunning fall foliage and unforgettable vistas.

Nabob Loop Hiking Trail

The Nabob Loop is about a mile long with only 100 feet of elevation gain. It’s a great Deer Valley hike for the whole family. From Silver Lake Village, head out toward the Sterling Express chairlift. The Nabob Loop starts over to the left, slightly downhill from the Silver Lake trailhead, and weaves through a beautiful alpine forest bursting with color.

Sultan Out and Back Hiking Trail

The Sultan Out and Back hiking trail is six miles long and starts at the Nabob Loop and continues past the Sultan Express chairlift. It leads through trees, across ski runs, and out to a scenic deck that’s perfect for a picnic.

Silver Lake To Bowhunter Loop

This hike is for the most adventurous and will take you to the top of Deer Valley’s Bald Mountain. It starts at Silver Lake Lodge at the Silver Lake trailhead, just past the Homestake Express chairlift. Ascend through twisting singletrack trails, passing golden aspen groves towards the top of Bald Mountain. From there, continue onto the Ontario Canyon trail through a field of crimson scrub oak into a high-mountain meadow with fall wildflowers, and take a left on the Bowhunter Loop. Complete a clockwise loop before returning the way you came until you reach the lodge.
