Even though we’re enjoying the warm weather and summer activities, it’s not too early to start thinking about which winter ski pass might be best for you and your family. Most passes offer discounts for early purchases, so planning ahead can save you money (and the headache of scrambling at the last minute!).
Utah’s multi-resort season passes are a great option if you love variety in your skiing or snowboarding experiences. These passes offer flexibility, diversity, and more opportunities to enjoy The Greatest Snow on Earth® in Utah’s mountains.
Utah ski resorts participate in several popular season pass programs. This means easier and more affordable access to some of Utah’s best skiing and riding. Note that some of these passes offer access to resorts outside of Utah as well, but for now, we will just be discussing the best for Utah-specific. Let’s take a dive into the upcoming 2024/2025 winter season!
The Ikon Pass offers great options for Utah skiers and snowboarders and is arguably one of my most popular passes for those on the Wasatch Front. The ikon pass gives unlimited access to Solitude Mountain Resort and limited access to Brighton, Deer Valley, Snowbird, Alta, and Snowbasin. The top-tier Ikon Pass provides Utah lovers with unlimited access at Solitude Mountain Resort, seven days at Brighton, seven days at Deer Valley, seven shared days between Alta/Snowbird, and seven days at Snowbasin. OR, for a bit less, you can grab the Ikon Base Pass, which (includes blackout dates) and gets you unlimited access to Solitude Mountain Resort and five days at Brighton.
IKON: Adult $1,359 | Young Adult $1,019 | Child $429 | 4 & Under $149
Ikon Base: $969 | Young Adult $699 | Child $359 | 4 & Under $99
College, Military, and Nurses Discounts available
The Epic Pass offers unlimited access to Park City Mountain with no blackout dates AND summer lift access. This is a very popular pass for those on the Wasatch Back. The Epic Local Pass will save you a couple of hundred dollars and still get you unlimited access to Park City Mountain’s 7,300 acres, but there are a few blackout dates to note.
Epic Pass: Adult $1004 | Child $512
Epic Local: Adult $746 | Child $388
College, Military, and Adaptive Discounts are available
Mountain Collective’s Utah partner resorts include Alta Ski Area, Snowbasin Resort, and Snowbird. A great option for those who may be visiting Utah & would like to experience some of the best resorts we have to offer. Each Mountain Collective® pass holder receives 2 days at each Collective destination, plus 1 bonus third day at a resort of your choice (while supplies last), 50% off all additional days at Collective destinations, special lodging deals at Mountain Collective® locations, and the best part? There are no blackout dates.

The Yeti Pass is good for one lift ticket at every Utah ski and snowboard resort during the season, with no blackout dates!
